Project Management
In establishing a framework for dealing with the detailed operational planning necessary to launch a project of this size we have taken a team approach. It makes sense to assign responsibilities for various operational decisions to groups who have expertise in the particular area. However, it is important to have a project manager or management team who will maintain oversight of the project as a whole and will facilitate the sharing of information amongst the teams. It is essential that there be a communication and reporting process in place to keep the project on track and moving forward.
